Monday, January 26 Service in Our Community

Students will clip coupons for a food pantry or make placemats or blankets for the patients at Glen Oaks Hospital. Several students from each grade will be selected to deliver the placemats and blankets to the patients. Students are asked to bring items for the Women’s Shelter in Wheaton – see attached list.

Tuesday, January 27 Service in Our Students

Student Appreciation Day

Spelling Bee-1:30

Free Jeans Day/Crazy Hair Day

No Homework Night

Students will participate in a Scavenger Hunt.

Popcorn and Kool-Aid will be served by Student Council at Lunch.

Wednesday, January 28 Service in Our Nation

Students will pay $1 to wear Red, White, and Blue accessories with their uniforms.

The money will be used to purchase phone cards for troops. Students in Grades 6-8 will write letters to accompany the phone cards.

Anyone wanting to make Valentines for Vets is invited to Hurley Hall at 9:15.

Students are asked to bring supplies such as construction paper, stickers, glitter, tissue paper, paper doilies, etc. for making the valentines.

Thursday, January 29 Service in Our Vocation

Teacher Appreciation Day

Student Council will provide the teachers with coffee, juice, and donuts

for a morning snack and the PO will provide lunch for them as well.

Friday, January 30 Service in Our Volunteers

All School Mass-8:45

After mass parents, grandparents, and other school volunteers will be invited for refreshments in Hurley Hall. Certificates and questionnaires done by students about their grandparents will be on display.

10:00-11:00-Parents and Grandparents will be invited to visit the classrooms to observe regular classroom activities. No formal presentations will be given.

11:30-Dismissal

Saturday, January 31 Family Mass-6:00-Children’s Choir will sing

Family Game Night-7:00-In Hurley Hall (sponsored by the PO)
